Hi I’m Bianca!

I’m a San Diego born and raised girlie who simply loves to create. I’ve had a camera in my hand since 8th grade, and have always known I wanted it in my life in some capacity. The past 5 years, I have been shooting all types of different things! From different events like weddings and parties to maternity shoots and families. Ever since my favorite studio opened in 2021, I’ve been shooting a lot in there as well.

The studio I shoot out of is Gud Times Photo Studio which is owned by a dear friend of mine. I’m definitely Gud Times’ number 1 fan. The best studio in all of San Diego hands down!

My style of photography can be best described as soft, true to color, with a hint of warmth. My approach when shooting is to give direction to create natural poses. I give you all the poses, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. I am more introverted and use that to my advantage while shooting. This allows me to be more observant of the details. Photography is the art of observation, so I say it’s a great pairing.

Some more facts about me you should know!

I’m building my family with my fiancé, Dylan Easter. That’s right, Easter, just like the holiday. We have been together for 5 years, and got engaged in Greece. He is also an artist! He graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston and we did long distance while he was there. Dylan’s my best and proudest decision I’ve made so far in life. I’m so so grateful for him. You should know about him ahead of time because I truly do not shut up about my mans. Thought I should warn you!

I am the middle child of 3 girls, which means I’m very independent and one tough cookie. I also have two beautiful little nieces who I see a few times a week! I also talk about them allllll the time.

My favorites: Blonde hot mochas, Mexican seafood, espresso martinis (bonus if it’s a coconut espresso martini), Ariana Grande, drag race, beach > mountains, tattoos

Why Water and Gems?

The first photo I ever took where I recognized photography as an art form versus a hobby I enjoyed, was a photo of splashing water. The still water looked like crystals, or gems. I even have a tattoo resembling this idea that I got before this business came to life. The name simply fit.
